VG: Vkei-Guide is a web magazine that acts as a guide to Japan through Visual-kei for people living overseas. First of all, please tell us your name, part in the band and a place where you recommend for the readers to visit in Japan.

Nimo: I am the vocalist, Nimo. I recommend Kujukurihama in Chiba. You can enjoy in the sea in summer, and see the beautiful starry sky in winter.

kazuya: I am the main composer and guitarist, kazuya. I think Mt. Fuji where SHUN. took me this year is wonderful.

SHUN.: I am the guitarist & DJ, SHUN. I would say Mt. Fuji!!

ZERO: I am the bassist, ZERO. It is, of course, McDonald‘s! What? It’s a recommendation for the US?

TSUKASA: I am the drummer, TSUKASA. I recommend Zao in Yamagata prefecture. The scenery is beautiful, such as Okama (a crater lake) in summer and soft rime in winter.

VG: What is your trend at the moment?

Nimo: It’s not a recent thing, but I like going to public baths.

kazuya: Mario of Nintendo SWITCH.

SHUN.: Retort pouch food.

ZERO: Splatoon 2 of Nintendo SWITCH.

TSUKASA: Bedrock bathing.

VG: The CD jackets of the new single “Jougen no Tsuki no Orchestra -Stella Note Magic-“ to be released on November 22 are completely different between the limited edition and the normal edition. Please share with us the concepts of the design.

ZERO: The concept of the normal edition is an image of “fantasy” like “Jogen no Tsuki no Orchestra” (gold), while in contrast, the concept of the limited edition is a “stylish” image like “SILVER BULLET” (silver).

VG: First, “Jougen no Tsuki no Orchestra -Stella Note Magic-“ has a gentle tone with splendid sound. Please share with us some points that you recommend.

Nimo: There is a part everyone can sing in this song, so it would be great if we can sing together.

kazuya: Strings in addition to the melody.

SHUN.: Fineness and harmony of strings.

ZERO: A sense of tension during the bridge after progressing melodiously.

TSUKASA: There are some thought-provoking parts in the latter half of the lyrics, and the melody is simple and easy to understand.

VG: In contrast to “Jougen no Tsuki no Orchestra –Stella Note Magic-“, “SILVER BULLET” contains darkness and heartache. Please share with us recommended points from this song.

Nimo: I wanted to make it a contrasting song to the fantasy of the main song, so I expressed what the two sides between love and hate are probably like. Also, another thing I’d like to point out is that the theme color of the main song is gold, and that of the coupling song is silver.

kazuya: I like the intro. In addition, for THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S, familiar changes of key in the chorus.

SHUN.: Suspense and thrilling feelings.

ZERO: I think changes of E melody part are interesting, so please feel free to uncomfortable at first.

TSUKASA: There is the melody in the heaviness.

VG: You have lots of songs, but why did you choose “EARNEST GAME” and “MONSTER’S ROAR” as to be rearranged for this release?

ZERO: We have already recorded “PARASITIC EMOTION” in which the melody matches Nimo’s vocals and “Curtain Call” in which a sense of unity can be made in live shows. Therefore, we wanted to regenerate “EARNEST GAME” and “MONSTER’S ROAR that play major roles as a part of momentum in live shows with Nimo’s vocals this time.

VG: If you enter an orchestra, which instrument you would choose?

Nimo: Cello. I cannot find the reason, though… (Laughs)

kazuya: I was a conductor in school when I was a student. I want to join as a conductor because it was fun.

SHUN.: Cymbal. There doesn’t seem to be many tasks to do.

ZERO: Conductor. Tempo, strength and weakness depend on me!

TSUKASA: Tenor sax or trombone. I had played them when I was a student.

VG: Regarding the sub-title “Stella Note Magic”, if you can use magic, which magic would you like to use and what would you like to do with it?

Nimo: Behomazun (HealUsAll) from DRAGON QUEST. Everybody will be happy when they recover their physical strength!

kazuya: Ruler (Return) from DRAGON QUEST. Cost-saving. (Laughs)

SHUN.: Megante (Sacrifice) from DRAGON QUEST. Everybody, die! (Laughs)

ZERO: Summoning magic from FINAL FANTASY. I can do anything if I can summon anything.

TSUKASA: Zaoriku (Revive) from DRAGON QUEST. I want to bring my grandfather back to life.

VG: “WINTER TOUR 2017 Jougen no Tsuki no Orchestra” will be held at 6 venues in the nationwide, and it seems that all seats will be reserved seats only for the final show of the tour at Shinjuku ReNY on December 16. Could you share with us the reasons?

kazuya: This is totally a trial. Public opinions and times, etc. Also, I am not sure yet, but I want to consider performances that suit having seats for the final show.

VG: Lastly, please give your message to overseas fans.

Nimo: I want to play live shows in foreign countries someday, so please look forward to them!

kazuya: We are distributing our music by iTunes, etc. in foreign countries, so please have a look. And please invite us!!

SHUN.: I haven’t been to foreign countries recently, but I want to play live shows in various places.

ZERO: I learned a lot of things in foreign countries. I am making good use of that experience in my life. I want to share new things with these five members, and challenge playing overseas live shows as places where I can grow, someday. Please be supportive so that THE MICRO HEAD 4N’S’ music can be delivered to more people. Let’s meet at the place where you live!

TSUKASA: I want to get excited with overseas fans together at live shows again, and enjoy scenery and food!

VG: Vkei-Guideはヴィジュアル系を通して海外に日本をガイドするというコンセプトのウェブマガジンです。まずはお名前とパートと外国人にお勧めしたい日本のスポットを教えてください。

Nimo: VocalのNimoです。千葉の九十九里浜。夏は海で遊べて、冬は最高の星空が見れます。

kazuya: メインの作曲とGUITARのkazuyaです。オススメは今年SHUN.に連れてってもらった富士山は素晴らしいと思います。

SHUN.: GUITAR & DJのSHUN.です。オススメは、マウントフジーー！！

ZERO: BassのZEROです。日本のおすすめはやはりマクドナルドでしょう！え？それはアメリカじゃないかって？

TSUKASA: DrumsのTSUKASAです。オススメは山形県の蔵王です。夏は御釜、冬は樹氷など景色が綺麗です。

VG: 最近何かハマっているものがあれば教えて下さい。

Nimo: 前からだけど銭湯に行くのが好きです。

kazuya: Nintendo SWITCHのマリオです。

SHUN.: レトルト食品です。

ZERO: Nintendo SWITCHのスプラトゥーン２ですね。

TSUKASA: 岩盤浴です。

VG: 11月22日リリースの「上弦の月のオーケストラ‐Stella Note Magic‐」の初回限定盤と通常版のジャケットが全く異なるものですが、そのデザインのコンセプトを教えてください。

ZERO: 通常盤は上弦の月のオーケストラ（黄金）をファンタジー的に。初回限定盤はSILVER BULLET（銀）をスタイリッシュにというイメージで作りました。

VG: まずは「上弦の月のオーケストラ‐Stella Note Magic‐」ですが、豪華なサウンドの中にも優しさのある印象を受けました。個人的に思う、この曲のお勧めポイントを教えてください。

Nimo: この曲もみんなで歌えるポイントがあるので、全員で歌えたら最高ですね。

kazuya: メロディーとやはりストリングスかな。

SHUN.: ストリングスの美しさと、ハーモニー。

ZERO: メロディアスに進行していく中にくる間奏部分での緊張感。

TSUKASA: 歌詞の後半に考えさせられる部分があるのと、メロディーがシンプルでわかりやすい。

VG:「SILVER BULLET」は「上弦の月のオーケストラ‐Stella Note Magic‐」とは対照的に、ダークさと切なさのある曲という印象を受けました。個人的に思う、この曲のお勧めポイントを教えてください。

Nimo: メイン曲のファンタジーさとは対照的な存在にしたかったので、現実的にありそうな愛情と憎悪の表裏一体な部分を表現してみました。メイン曲が金、カップリングが銀というのもポイントです。

kazuya: introは自分でも好きですね。あとはマイフォではおなじみのサビの転調

SHUN.: サスペンスさとスリリングさ。

ZERO: Eメロ部分の変化がとても面白いと思うので、初めは思う存分違和感を感じて下さい。

TSUKASA: 激しさの中にもメロディアスさがある。

VG: たくさんの曲がある中で、リアレンジとして「EARNEST GAME」と「MONSTER’S ROAR」を選んだ理由を教えて下さい。

ZERO: 以前はNimoの声にマッチした「PARASITIC EMOTION」、そして会場の一体感を作り上げる「Curtain Call」を再録しました。今回はライブの盛り上がり部分で大きな役割を果たしているこの２曲をNimoくんの声で新しく生まれ変わらせたいなと思ったからです。

VG: 自分がもしオーケストラに入るとしたら、どの楽器で入りたいですか。

Nimo: チェロ。全然理由が思い浮かびません。笑

kazuya: 小さい頃学校で指揮者をやったんですが、楽しかったので指揮者。

SHUN.: シンバル。やることが少なさそう。

ZERO: 指揮者。テンポも強弱も俺次第！

TSUKASA: テナーサックスかトロンボーン。学生の頃吹いていたので。

VG: サブタイトルの「Stella Note Magic」から、もし魔法が使えるならば、どのような魔法で何をしたいですか。

Nimo: ベホマズン。みんなが体力全快でハッピー！

kazuya: ルーラ経費削減w

SHUN.: メガンテ。みんな死んじゃえw

ZERO:召喚魔法です。色々呼べるので何でも出来ます。

TSUKASA: ザオリク。じいちゃんを生き返らせる。

VG:「WINTER TOUR 2017 上弦の月のオーケストラ」が全国6か所で行われますが、ファイナルの12月16日新宿ReNYのみ全席指定で行うそうですが、あえて全席指定にした理由を少しだけ教えていただけますか。

kazuya: 今回は完全に実験です。世の中の声とか時代とか。そしてまだわかりませんがファイナルは椅子が似合う演出も考えたいですね。

VG: 最後に海外の皆さんにメッセージをお願いします。

Nimo: いずれ海外でのライブもしたいので楽しみに待っていてください。

kazuya: 海外でもあらゆるところでiTunesなどで配信もしてますので、是非チェックしてみてください。そして僕たちを呼んでください!!

SHUN.: なかなか海外に行けてないですが、またいろんなところでライブをしてみたいです。

ZERO: 海外ではたくさんの事を感じ学びました。今の自分の要素の中に、大きくその経験が生かされています。またこの５人でも新しい事を分かち合い、成長する場としていつかまた海外へも挑戦したいと思っています。もっともっとたくさんの人にTHE MICRO HEAD 4N’Sの音楽が届くようにみんなも少しだけでいいから協力して下さい。またいつかみんなの住む街で会おう！

TSUKASA: また海外のお客さんと一緒にLIVEで盛り上がったり、風景とか食べ物とかも色々楽しみたいです。
